Learning Contract

This concept is taken from Star Muir's version of CTCH 603. The idea is to go into greater depth in one area of the course to learn some specific technology. This will permit you to individualize the course somewhat so that you are learning what you most want to learn. You can learn something totally new, or increase your ability in something you already know.

To do this, you will describe to the instructor in writing what you know now in the particular area and what, in a general way, you would like to learn. This gives me a chance to react and makes everything explicit.
