Button and Popup Menu Assignment

1) Do the three parts of the TAC Fireworks Exercise 6. Put your initials in the text of each button.

2) Create a pop up menu system like in left hand side of the TAC Fireworks Workshop. What the links say and where they link to is up to you. Each popup menu should have at least two entries. Try to make it look nice.

There are several different ways to create these menuss. Here are three; there are probably others:

Method #1

1. Use the Text tool in Fireworks to create a single image that has all the top level navigational links.
2. Turn this image into an imagemap in Fireworks with a different area for each of the top level navigational links
3. Use the Popup menu behavior in Fireworks to create the second level links.

Method #2

1. Use the Text tool in Fireworks to create a single image that has all the top level navigational links
2. In Fireworks, slice this image with a different slice for each of the top level navigational links
3. Use the popup menu behavior in Fireworks to create the second level links

Method #3

1 Use the Text Tool in Fireworks to create separate images for each of the top level navigational links
2. Put the images together in a table in Dreamweaver
3. Use the popup menu behavior in Dreamweaver to create the second level links
