I presented on CampusNet, The Potomac School's version of Blackboard. Just like
Blackboard it is a way to keep informed on the happenings at Potomac. The school
has given all students grades 7-12, teachers, faculty, and parents their own access
to CampusNet. Each user can customize their homepage to include links to parts
of CampusNet that they are interested in. For example, a parent of a lower schooler
might include links to each teacher's homepage while a parent of an upper schooler
might include links to the athletics webpages. Each teacher has their own webpage
on which they can post class news, announcements, homework, pictures and other
documents relating to the classroom. Parents are then able to access these webpages
and keep informed about their child's education. It is a very good tool to keep
parents and teachers connected.
