Paper Guidelines
Students will write 2 shorter papers and a longer paper. The combined length of all three should be approximately 3500 words, with a suggested length of 750 words for each of the shorter papers and 2000 words for the longer paper. The instructor will provide comments on the longer paper to enable the student to rewrite the paper.
Shorter Papers
- The two short papers should be on different cases unless the student receives written permission to write both short papers on the same case.
- The instructor will post a list of questions on each case a week before the case is scheduled to be presented. Students may write on one of these questions or a topic of their own choosing.
- Students do not need to let the instructor know they are writing on a question for that case
- Each paper should state the question it is addressing at the top of the first page, in single-spaced format
- Papers are due a week after the case is presented and should be submitted as a Word document to gmuit343@gmail.com. Do not use this address for routine correspondence since it will only be checked weekly for purposes of grading.
- Papers will not be published either on the website or Blackboard so students should put their name on the paper just like any other paper.
Longer Paper
- This paper may be on the same case as one of the shorter papers
- I recommend that the student submit at least one of the shorter papers before submitting the longer paper.
- A draft of the paper is due by Friday, April 24 and the final version is due Friday, May 8. Submit the paper using the email address specified above.
