Define a site in Dreamweaver. You can either define this site to include the home page you did for the first homework assignment or you can define the site to only include a folder of your entire web space.
Create 4 new pages. Lilnk to the initial page of these 4 from your home page that you did for the first homework assignment.
The initial page of these 4 should contain the following:
a heading tag
at least one link to another website.
All of the 4 pages should contain a good title appropriate for the content of that page..
All of the 4 pages should link to the same external stylesheet.
The content of each page should correspond to the title for that page.
In Paint, create 4 images with text and an over state for each button.
Create a navigational bar using the images from the previous step (see Lesson 4 in Chapter 4) that will provide links to the current page and each of the other 3 pages.
Each of links in the navigational bar should change appearance when the user mouseovers the link except the link that refers to the current page.
The initial state of the navigational bar should reflect the page on which it appears -- to do this, the initial state of the button corresponding to the current page should be the over state of the busson.
When you are done, transfer all the changed files to the appropriate place on your student web space. Ths will include the following:
your revised index page (because it contains a link to your new homework)
your 4 new files
your external style sheet file (if it is different or changed from the one you used in the first homework assgnment)
the 8 images for the up and over states of your navigational bar
