Turning it off temporarily - click Lotus button

Preventing it from loading at startup - remove shortcut from c:\windows\Start Menu\Programs\Start Up

If you don't want it on top of other programs - Basics tab of SmartCenter Properties dialog box - click the check box next to "Reserve Minimum Space for SmartCenter" option

Move it to top of screen - Check "top of screen" in Basics tab of Smart Center Properties dialog box

Changing width of drawer - like any other window

Renaming drawer - Right Clicking drawer - right clicking is often used to bring up properties menu

Setting properties for all of SmartCenter - Click on Lotus button and choose SmartCenter Properties (effects tab to change or silence the sound of an event)
